Welcome to your little corner of the internet where the food is good, the opinions are strong, and there's probably a bit of flour on the floor.

My Nonna Santina had one rule: if you're here, you're hungry, so let's eat. No fuss, no drama. Just a full table, good food and plenty of people around it.

That's pretty much the heart of Italy at Your Door.

So, now that you've found your way here, I thought I'd keep the conversation going - with recipes worth making, kitchen stories worth telling, what to drink with your dinner (wine is usually the answer), and all the little behind-the-scenes moments that never quite make it onto the menu.

Expect real recipes, real food and very strong opinions. Like how long lasagna actually needs to rest before you attack it.

We'll talk about the good, the burnt, the beautiful and the "why is there flour on the ceiling?" moments. Because cooking isn't supposed to be perfect. It's supposed to bring people to the table.
